Our vision is to even the playing field.
Project Team and Management Structure
Staffing
An Executive Director will ensure smooth coordination of Hangar2 for all users and tenants and will be supported by a facilities director, administrative staff, and maintenance personnel.
Evaluation
We will use a variety of quantitative and qualitative tools, including tracking participation rates, to effectively monitor progress toward our mission. However, the true impact will be realized throughout the lifetime of our kids as they develop into adults and, in turn, give back to their communities.
Management Structure
The four anchor tenants, under the governance of the Board of Directors, will independently operate their programs while sharing the overarching objective for the positive development of youth.
Board and Campaign Leadership Team
Capital fundraising and renovation oversight are handled by an Ad Hoc Campaign Committee composed of our Board Members and a larger group of civic and philanthropic leaders led by Campaign Co-Chairs Bill Chao and Kris Snider (both Board Members). Our working committee is also supported by an Honorary Cabinet of Advisors focused on raising funds for the restoration of Building 2.
Operations Forecast
Operations will be primarily funded through organization leases and rentals to other recreational groups. We will continue to engage in ongoing fundraising initiatives to fund public access activities.
The Project Team
To support the Board and committee members, we have engaged a team of architectural, marketing, engineering, construction, activity programming, legal and fundraising experts, many having worked on adaptive building renovations in Magnuson Park.
